I bang on a lot about passwords.
Just check this lot out here (all my previous blog posts on passwords): https://www.ihatemypc.com.au/blog/categories/password-management-tools-advice
So I am not going to repeat myself.
Suffice to say that on a fairly regular basis surveys are done of people's passwords.
You may wonder how this is done. I mean, you haven't given anyone your password and who would give a survey their password?
Well, you'd be surprised how easily people give up their passwords. But that's not it.
The data comes from breached data. In this article it says that "The analysed data included 15,603,438 breaches".
Just let that number sink in for a minute.
15 million data breaches. What do you think the chances are that your username and password AREN'T in there?
Pretty low I'd say.
So even IF your password isn't on the picture above, it is probably in the list...somewhere...if it isn't a good one...and you know who you are.
Sort yourself out now or get yourself compromised.
There's no nice way to put it.
