David helped us with a desktop computer and a laptop that had viruses and other problems.
He reloaded them and fixed up some email problems.
He also explained things to us clearly, provided advice on what to do with our old computers
and buying new computers in the future without all the jargon.

Recently David from I Hate My PC assessed our computer systems.

Just been speaking with the Kindy where your lovely Sonia has been working.
The Kindy could not be happier - they said that she was very professional and very helpful. The thing that they appreciated the most was that she was not 'judgmental' about their lack of technical skills and the fact that hey are all old women who cannot use computers. She has been great and I think Sonia has formed a job-for-life connection there.

...I'm totally in awe of the magic David spun. David came to our office and had a daunting task at hand. He had to learn how the office was set up (multiple companies sharing the main server, then our office sharing a sub-server), the functions and configuration of the server and then he had to work out why certain things were working for some users and others weren't working. After hours of checking and tweaking different computer settings and routers and cables and boxes he some how managed to work out the problem...

For the last couple of years we have worked out of both home and office. David has helped us with all sorts of things from setting up new computers, printers, secure wireless home networks to troubleshooting various problems. We recently moved to working full-time from the home office. David helped with the migration of our business infrastructure and intellectual property to the home network. He's always been very helpful and honest. I don't know what we'd do without him.

I had a few problems with my computers. I couldn't get things from my old PC to my new laptop, strange things happened when I tried to send photos in emails and I suspected some sort of problem with my virus program. David had a look at the problems, fixed up a few things on the computers and gave me tips on updating the virus software. David also gave me tips on avoidng web downloads that are known to carry viruses, cleaned up my old computer (giving me more space) and helped me with the emailing of photos. Now everything is working fine.

David has written a couple of software installation manuals and user guides for BEAR.

I am a novice with computers and just needed a bit of a boost to get into the whole computer and world wide web thing. David gave me some training and got me on my way. He also provided some advice with regards to identifying exactly what I wanted and needed to do with the computer and whether or not my computer was up to the job. We were having some problems with our PC. Some programs wouldn't install or run properly and we didn't know why. David explained the problem - our computer wasn't powerful enough for the newer bigger programs. He provided us with a workaround until such time as we decided to ugrade our computer.
