How much does it cost when the trial ends? |
Generally speaking the service will cost less than 50 cents per day per computer. The actual cost depends on how many computers you monitor, what frequency of monitoring you choose (see below) and whether or not the computer being monitored is a server or workstation. NOTE: Most home and small business people use workstations not servers. The service gets cheaper per computer the more computers you add! If you have a lot of computers please get in touch with us for a personalized quote. Detailed pricing is also within the agreement document PDF. |

Is it for Mac or PC? |
At the moment monitoring is for Microsoft Windows based computers only. However a Mac version is in the works as too is a Linux version. |

How often do you check my computer? |
Daily Health Checks are performed once a day.![]() Thare are usually scheduled for around 10am in the morning but will vary depending on your computer use and your requirements. Our technicians receive immediate email notification and dashboard alerts when a problem is detected during the daily checks. Other maintenance tasks such as disk defragmentation, temporary file cleanup, software updates etc. are set to occur less frequently and at their intervals pertinent to their requirements. NOTE: Depending on the state of your system and personal requirements, some or all maintennance tasks may be disabled for the greater good :-) Our team is reviewing monitoring data during business hours (Australian Eastern Standard time). 24x7 monitoring of your systems is possible at additional cost. This type of monitoring can check your computer's health optionally every 5 or 15 minutes. This is only recommended for customers with servers running applications that also need to be working 24x7. 24x7 monitoring is overkill for workstations and the average user. |

Is it easy to un-install? |
Yes, it uninstalls quickly and easily like any other program. You don't need to reboot afterwards. If you don't know how to do this we can send you detailed instructions or help you out remotely. |

Is this for me? (Small business, home user, student) |
The service is suitable for anyone in any line of work, study or recreational computer use. Anyone who wants their computer monitored is eligible for the trial. Everyone will benefit from the service. |

What if I change my mind and no longer want to use the service? |
You can let us know at any time that you no longer require the service. There is no contract period and no penalty. Once the trial expires, or your monthly pre-payment runs out, the service will cease. You don't even have to uninstall the program if you don't want to (but it is a good idea that you do). |

What about privacy? |
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. None of your details relating to the trial, billing or on your systems will be shared with any non-authorized person. Only our team members related directly to supplying the service have access to your details. View our privacy policy here. |

What about security? |
Your security is also of paramount importance to us. ![]() We have an ethical, moral and legal requirement to keep your systems as secure as humanly possible. While we can see technical information about your systems we cannot see or otherwise access your personal data on the computer itself. Optional remote support is achieved using our "Calling Card" program which requires you to instigate and authorize our access/remote-control of any particular computer. Our Calling Card program is based on LogMeIn.com technology. The best and most respected provider of remote technologies on the web. Once you've instigated remote support we can then see pretty much everything on your computer but you are still in control! |

What are the risks? |
Of course downloading and installing a program has some element of risk. Especially if you don't know or otherwise trust the person or company you are dealing with. We have a number of clients already successfully using the product. You can see some testimonials below or if you would like we can arrange you to communicate with some of them and assure yourself of our integrity. It should also be noted that this product is not just something we cobbled together ourselves. It is a customized version of a product used globally and produced by GFI. Our remote support "Calling Card" is powered by LogMeIn.Com, one of the worlds most respected remote support companies. Of course, from time to time things go wrong, programs don't work with your computer and other problems may take place. Rest assured we dislike these as much as you and will do our best to prevent or overcome any such issues affecting anyone. |

Will the monitoring program slow down my computer? |
The monitoring program is very small, very efficient and very sensitive to the priorities of the person using the computer. It lives in the background and purposely gives itself a low priority. This means what you are doing takes precedent over what it needs to do. We've seen no noticeable performance impact on any computer to date. However, it is a program, it does use memory, disk space and processing cycles - it will have some small effect on your computer's resources. This will be more noticeable the older your computer is or if it is short of any of those things to begin with. |
