About Us ...

I Hate My PC was started in 2006 with the aim of making your everyday computer and technology experiences more pleasant.

We are winning awards and growing because you like what we do and how we do it.

Our team has experience across all areas of computing.

We won the Business Swap Australia New Business Of The Year award for 2008.

The name came about as the result of joking about with friends and family when I was solving their computer problems. I like to have a laugh while I work. I am not one of those scary computer guys who can't communicate with people.

My love of computers started in high school where I latched onto anyone who could get me access to a computer. I also built my own computer from a kit. So I have a special understanding of what is under the hood of a computer.

After 24 years in the computer industry I have a vast amount of experience. The last 13 years prior to this business were spent as a software testing expert. In that role I tried to prevent bad software being released to unsuspecting people like you and me.

Now I receive much more satisfaction from helping people with their computers and other technology than I did on large corporate projects that never seemed to finish.

I live in Dee Why with my wife Susan, Bärli (pronounced bear-lee) the "I Hate My PC" Bernese Mountain dog, Lilly the calico cat, Patsy the terse tortoiseshell pussy and a myriad of local wildlife.
